Alexander Kielland

Alexander Lange Kielland (1849–1906)
Norwegian author. Kielland is considered one of “The Four Greats” in Norwegian literature and was one of the forerunners of realistic tendentious writing during the 1880s, and one of the Norwegian writers who most closely followed Brandes’ demand to subject issues to debate in their works. Father to Jens Zetlitz Kielland.
